Cleaning Inside Confined Spaces, Not for the Squeamish

A confined space, according to labor-safety regulations, is an enclosed area with limited access. They are not designed for people, but people do enter them to perform certain jobs, such as cleaning the interiors or repairing machinery that might be housed inside the confined space area. Just by the nature of our industrial cleaning work, we most often find ourselves in these areas.  Only workers specially trained in confined space work may enter.

Confined spaces can be dark, damp, tight, and dangerous places to enter. They are definitely not a place to enter if you are claustrophobic or squeamish.
