Overlays and Mortars
Epoxy mortar systems will provide for long-lasting floor systems in your facility by providing a substrate that is strong and flat. These types of systems are suitable for new concrete and provide the necessary protection for a long lasting floor or for use on old concrete to repair any damage which has occurred over the years.Once we shot blast the floor, it receives a coat of primer followed by epoxy mortar. Once in place, floors are then troweled to create a flat surface. All the joints are saw cut into the now new surface and then filled out flush. Now the floor can be topped with several different materials - whichever fits your particular need or desire. One of the most popular is an epoxy material. These provide a durable finish to the mortar surface.
Mortar systems come in several colors. The ability to resist chemicals depends on the type of binder resin utilized in the application.
