Blackwell’s Inc. Receives Small Business of the Year Award

 

Blackwell’s Inc. was recently presented the Small Business of the Year Award from the Lagrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce.  They competed in the category for Small Business with 26-50 Employees.  Blackwell’s Inc. serves industries throughout the southeast with specialty industrial cleaning, concrete coatings and repair.

 

Blackwell’s Inc. recognizes a most important goal of business is to maintain a continuous relationship with existing customers based on fair pricing, integrity, safety, and excellent service.  Growth will come by maintaining these standards and by staying current with technological innovations in the industry.

Blackwell's Associates Win Safety Award

 

Blackwell's Inc. recently had three associates take first place in a Jeopardy Safety Challenge competing against other professionals from throughout the Southeast.  This challenge was the finale of a 10-Hour OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Certification.

The Safety Coordinator with Blackwell's Inc. recently received the Georgia Department of Labor's prestigious Director's Award at the Georgia Safety, Health, and Environmental Conference held in Savannah, GA.

 

The award was in recognition of the priority Blackwell's Inc. places on safety on the jobsite.

Blackwell', Inc. acheives 500 Day Milestone

 

Blackwell’s Inc., an industrial service company in LaGrange, GA, has achieved a record breaking safety performance with 500 days without a work related injury.  

 

Clint Greathouse, Safety Coordinator with Blackwell’s Inc. states “Maintaining and developing an effective safety program is vital to any company’s success.  Using zero accidents as a key performance indicator will be a priority”. “We are more productive when our skilled associates are working as scheduled”, comments Greathouse.  “Keeping our associates and worksite safe, benefits not only our company and our associates, but our customers as well."

 

Continuous safety training in all aspects of Blackwell’s Inc. operations, together with monitoring safety performance, is very much a part of the day-to-day work.  “We make sure at all times, that our personnel, and the worksite itself, is safe.”
